With us at the MEG: Nina performed her Master thesis at the MEG in cooperation with the University of Zurich. Her work consisted in the 1-year long study of Archaeal diversity and distribution in deep water layers of Lake Maggiore. She was able to define the input of allochtonous archaea from the catchment area through rivers, and the subsequent environmental filtering of the lake.
Nina is now a Phd student at the EPF in Lausanne, in the Cole Lab.
