Sonia Plechuk

With us at the MEG: Sonia got in Dec 2013 her Bachelor Degree at the University of Catania. During her work at the MEG he conducted an experiment in continuous cultures to test the adaptations of artificially designed bacterial community exposed to semisynthetic antibiotics. Her findings, for the first time, suggest microbial coaggregation as an effective phenotype in preserving bacteria exposed to AB in low doses.
